Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using JobGuru's job application services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using JobGuru's AI-powered job application services ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

JobGuru is an AI-powered job application pipeline that discovers, scores, tailors, and optionally submits job applications on your behalf. The service is provided "as is" without guarantees of job placement or interview outcomes.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and legally permitted to seek employment in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for ensuring that automated applications comply with the terms of service of the job boards and employer sites you target.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate profile information. You may not create accounts on behalf of others without their explicit consent.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use JobGuru to submit fraudulent or misleading applications
  • Provide false qualifications, fabricated work history, or inaccurate personal information
  • Use the service to spam employers or overwhelm application systems
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or redistribute any part of the service
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits or access controls

6. Your Data

You retain ownership of all content you provide (resumes, profiles, cover letters). By using the service, you grant us a limited license to process this data as needed to operate JobGuru. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. AI-Generated Content

Tailored resumes and cover letters are generated by AI models based on information you provide. You are responsible for reviewing all generated content before it is submitted. JobGuru is not liable for inaccuracies in AI-generated materials.

8. Third-Party Services

JobGuru integrates with third-party services (Google Gemini, OpenAI, job boards, employer sites). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or terms of these services. Your use of LLM APIs is subject to each provider's terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chronobyte, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of JobGuru, including but not limited to: missed job opportunities, rejected applications, or data loss.

10. Disclaimers

JobGuru does not guarantee that applications will be successfully submitted, received, or reviewed by employers. Automated form-filling may fail due to CAPTCHA challenges, site changes, or technical issues. We provide the service on a best-effort basis.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
